THE Tank Museum’s annual wellbeing event On Track will return next week, featuring guest speakers and workshops that support the Armed Forces and emergency services personnel.
Taking place on Thursday, October 3, On Track will be opened by the High Sheriff of Dorset, Anthony Woodhouse.
Ex-tank commander Patt Burgess will offer insight into coping strategies and mindfulness, alongside exhibitors.
Other speakers include world class athlete Bernie Shrosbree, who formerly served with the special boat service and now coaches medal winning Olympians.
Veteran Don Gannon will share his experience of medical discharge following his life-altering cancer diagnosis.
Events manager Tom Holmes said: “We are pleased to be able to be able to focus on supporting the armed forces community and emergency service personal by offering this dedicated wellbeing event.”
Admission is free for serving Armed Forces, veterans, and past and present emergency services staff. Normal admission charges apply to other attendees.
