OFFICERS are appealing for information after a robbery in Christchurch.
A man in his 20s was riding a grey Honda moped along Barrack Road when a black/grey BMW approached as they came near the Esso petrol station.
The BMW forced the moped off the road.
The front passenger got out of the car and the moped rider fled the scene after feeling threatened by the incident.
A male passenger then got out of the car and rode on the moped off toward the Iford Roundabout with the BMW following.
The incident happened on September 22 at around 10.25am.
Police constable Rachael Birch, of Bournemouth East and Christchurch police, said: “We are carrying out a detailed investigation into this incident and I am keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone with information that might assist our enquiries.
“In particular, I am keen to hear from any motorists who may have captured relevant dashcam footage.
"I would also urge residents in the vicinity with home CCTV systems or doorbell cameras to check their footage for anything that might help us to identify the vehicle involved.”
