THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:
MARK HUGGINS, 39 and of Chine Crescent in Bournemouth, admitted possession of a controlled drug of Class A, namely Methamphetamine, at Bournemouth police custody on June 1. He admitted failing to answer to court / police bail as soon as practicable at Poole Magistrates’ Court on August 14. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
JAMES JEMMOTT, 49 and of Bournemouth, admitted using threatening / abusive words / behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Old Christchurch Road in Bournemouth on June 25. He was conditionally discharged for a period of six months.
STEPHEN PULLEN, 42 and of Poole, admitted assault by beating in Poole on December 28, 2023. He admitted failing to surrender to police / court bail at the appointed time at Poole Magistrates’ Court on August 7. He was handed an eight week prison sentence suspended for 12 months. He was also ordered to pay £100 compensation, a victim surcharge of £154 and costs of £50 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
GEMMA BARRY, 42 and of Turbary Park Avenue, admitted two counts of driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, namely Cocaine and Benzoylecgonine, in Wellington Road in Bournemouth on May 15. She was disqualified from driving for 36 months. She was also fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £48 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
BARRY PLANELLS, 34 and of Milne Road in Poole, admitted using a motor vehicle on a road / public place without third party insurance, driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence and driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, namely Cocaine, and possession of a controlled drug of Class A, namely Cocaine, in Napier Road in Poole on September 15, 2023. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He was also fined £240, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £96 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
COREY WALKER, 21 and of Corfe Road in Stoborough, admitted possession of a controlled drug of class B, namely Ketamine, at Poole General Hospital on Decemmber 22, 2023. He admitted four counts of possession of a controlled drug of class A, namely MDMA, Tapentadol and 2C-B tablets, in Mount Pleasant in Wareham on November 12, 2023. He admitted a further three charges of possession of a controlled drug of class B, namely Cannabis, Amphetamine and Ketamine, in Mount Pleasant in Wareham on November 12, 2023. He was handed a community order lasting until September 22, 2025. He was also fined £100, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
THOMAS MCCALUM, 21 and of Bournemouth, admitted possession of a controlled drug of class A, namely 1.29g of Crack Cocaine, in police custody in Bournemouth on May 16. He was fined £50 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20.
MARY KENT, 53 and of Wimborne Road in Bournemouth, admitted assault by beating of an emergency worker, namely a police officer, at Blackwater Junction of the A338 in Bournemouth on July 6. She was ordered to pay £100 compensation.
YUNIS MOHAMMAD, 23 and of Winston Avenue in Poole, admitted possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, namely a baseball bat, in Christchurch high street on June 10, 2023. He was conditionally discharged for a period of two years.
