A MAN has been taken to hospital after reportedly being bottled in a fight.
Dorset Police received a report at 5.04am on Saturday, September 21, of a fight in Charminster Road near to the junction with Nortoft Road in Bournemouth.
It was reported that a man aged in his 40s was assaulted with a glass bottle.
He was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries that are not life-threatening or life-changing.
A cordon was put in place while officers carry out enquiries at the scene.
An investigation is ongoing, but no arrests have been made at this time.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “There will be an increased police presence in the area and we would encourage anyone with information or concerns to please speak to an officer."
