A CAR crashed into a resident’s parked BMW before smashing into a brick wall of a driveway.
A man caused damage to a window of a home in Victoria Road, Bournemouth on Friday morning, September 20.
He reportedly fled in a blue Skoda Kamiq, that was later found crashed at the side of the road in Walpole Road, Boscombe at about 3pm.
Police officers on ground were joined by the NPAS police helicopter and eventually found the alleged suspect in Hamilton Road, two roads away from Walpole Road where the car crashes.
One neighbour in Walpole Road had damage to the front bumper of his grey BMW.
Dorset Police said one man has been arrested in connection with the incident, but did not have any details what he was arrested for.
A spokeswoman for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at around 9.30am on Friday 20 September 2024 that damage was caused to the windows of an address by a man in Victoria Road in Bournemouth, before he left the area in a vehicle.
"Following enquiries and searches of the area, assisted by the NPAS helicopter, the vehicle was subsequently located in Hamilton Road in the Boscombe area at around 3pm.
"It is reported that the occupants of the vehicle fled the scene.
"A man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
"An investigation will continue to establish the full circumstances of what happened."
