A NEW spa treatment inspired by the Highlands of Scotland is being made available in Poole.
Cosmetics company Lush is launching a unique full body hot stone massage at its Poole Spa next week.
The 60-minute treatment features Highlands spring water, stones carved with ancient Scottish symbols and is choreographed to a soundtrack of gaelic historical folk songs re-recorded especially for the treatment.
The experience begins with a Scottish stone consultation using 250 million year old Scottish marble, carved with ancient symbols which correspond to various different states of mind. Choose ’the river’ to ebb and flow with life’s twists and turns, ‘simplicity’ to help focus on what matters, or ‘the rainbow’ to embrace hope and joy.
Jody Bailey, spa R&D and treatment developer, said: “This treatment embodies the majestic magic of Scotland. Transporting you to the Highlands to soothe muscles with hot stones and encourage inner reflective wellbeing.
"The music is stunning, created by highlanders themselves in their native Gaelic tongue.”
The Highlands massage first launched exclusively at the brand new Lush Spa Glasgow City and Lush Spa Edinburgh on March 1.
It will launch at all Lush Spas nationwide, including in Poole, on September 27.
Book via the Lush app, or by contacting your closest Lush Spa directly.
