A GALLERY that was forced to close after a car reversed into its shop has announced it is reopening after months of repairs.
An elderly woman reversed her Toyota Yaris into Westover Gallery and shattered the shop front on February 29 earlier this year.
Multiple items inside the shop were severely damaged, including a newly built sculpture.
The gallery took to social media and hoped to reopen in ‘4 – 8 weeks’ while repairs took place.
Now, over six months later, the gallery has announced it will reopen tomorrow.
In a post on its Facebook page, it read: “We’re thrilled to announce the reopening of our Ringwood Gallery on September 18.
“Get ready to immerse yourself in incredible works from talented artists such as Zalini, Zinsky, Ghost, Wendy Satchwell, Julie Ann Scott, Frogman, Emma Gibbons, and Keith Maiden.
“And that’s not all, we’re planning a fabulous launch party in October/November! Make sure to sign up for our mailing list to be the first to know all the details.
“We might even sneak in a few early opening hours before the official date, so if you see us in the gallery, don’t hesitate to pop in and say hello.”
Westover Gallery is on High Street, Ringwood.
