THE biggest model show in the south west is coming to a popular Dorset museum this weekend.
An exciting programme has been announced for the South West Model Show being held at the Tank Museum in Bovington on September 14 and 15.
The two-day show offers a hands-on day for the whole family to enjoy, showcasing an incredible range of scale models, including trains, aircraft, boats, science fiction icons and tanks.
This year’s Autumn Model Show promises to be bigger than ever thanks to live workshops, demonstrations, soft play and crafts for mini modellers to a Q&A with the Daleks.
Events manager Tom Holmes said: “The model show brings the whole family together to take part in a hands-on weekend that celebrates the joy of model making.
“We are delighted to announce that, following the success of our model contest in spring, we will be repeating the competition this autumn.”
Visitors will also be able to explore The Tank Museum’s powerful interactive exhibitions and discover the world’s finest collection of military vehicles.
