A POPULAR high street store has announced it will be opening next week.

Bakery chain Greggs is soon to open a new premises on Old Christchurch Road in Bournemouth town centre.

Greggs offers baked goods such as sausage rolls, doughnuts and muffins to name a few.

The future of the Greggs store on Commercial Road in Bournemouth is understood to be staying in the centre.

Customers can soon treat themselves to go-to favourites including pizza, steak bakes and vegan alternatives.

Along with the new look is a ‘comfortable’ indoor seating area, open from 6.30am Monday to Saturday and 8am on Sunday.

A Greggs spokesperson said: “Greggs is due to open a new shop in Bournemouth within the next week. We can share further information over the next few days.”

Months earlier, Daniel Carpenter, shop manager, said: “We can’t wait to welcome both Greggs fans and new customers to our brand-new shop.

“We’ve got an amazing range of iconic savouries, Fairtrade hot drinks, hot food and healthier choices available for takeaway, sit-in or click and collect.”

An exact date for the opening has not been confirmed.
