A RESTAURANT in Poole will reopen later this week amid the closure of its other venue.
Drgnfly in Bournemouth Road, Ashley Cross, was closed last month for a refit, but bosses have confirmed it will reopen on September 6.
Its other branch in Dorchester closed permanently around the same time as the one in Poole, sparking concerns it too would not reopen.
Dorchester’s restaurant closed for an unknown reason and unexpectedly on August 28, our sister paper the Dorset Echo reported.
A spokesman for the Ashley Cross venue said: “Thank you all for your patience during our closure. Bookings will reopen on September 6, and we can’t wait to welcome you back.
“If you haven’t already, be sure to reserve your table - we’re looking forward to serving you again soon.”
But ahead of the closure in Dorchester, Drgnfly said it was initially closed for "essential works”.
It has no other restaurants in the country.
Drgnfly is a pan-Asian fusion restaurant and bar serving “modern” Asian cuisine and world class mixology.
