A MAN has been arrested after an Italian restaurant was allegedly burgled in broad daylight.
Vicolo Pizzeria in Albert Road in Bournemouth was closed on Tuesday, September 3, after its front door was smashed in.
Two police cars and a forensic van remain at the scene.
Pictures from the scene show the damage caused to the front door of the restaurant.
An arrest has been made and an investigation into the incident has begun.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “At 11.39am on Tuesday 3 September 2024, Dorset Police received a report of a suspected break-in at an address in Albert Road in Bournemouth.
“Officers are currently in attendance.
“A man has been arrested on suspicion of burglary.”
