A MAN has been charged in relation to a bottling incident that left a man in hospital.
Officers were alerted to an incident in the Bournemouth Triangle after a man was struck with a glass bottle.
The incident occurred in the Poole Hill area at around 4am.
A man in his 30s from Bristol was taken to hospital but has now been discharged.
Now, Daniel Seyoum Wall, 36 of Bristol has been charged with wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “Following detailed enquiries, a 36-year-old man from Bristol was arrested and has been charged with wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
“The victim – aged in his 30s and also from Bristol – has now been discharged from hospital.
“The arrested man and the victim are known to each other.
“Our investigation remains ongoing and there will continue to be an increased police presence in the vicinity.”
Wall is due to attend Poole Magistrates on September 3.
