A WOMAN was charged after a BMW crashed into a Bournemouth pub.
The grey 1-Series crashed into the George Tapps pub in Old Christchurch Road in the town centre on Saturday morning, August 31.
Luke Dominey, 24, was in the area when he heard a “loud bang” coming from the road.
He said: “I was getting ready for work when all of a sudden I heard a loud noise."
Images of the car show the bonnet completely destroyed with the airbags deployed and further damage to a light blue Mazda 2 that was parked in the road.
Dorset Police’s spokesman said nobody was injured in the crash, but the driver allegedly failed to provide a specimen for analysis following the crash.
Katarzyna Manska, aged 31 and of Bournemouth, has been charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis and is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Monday, November 18.
The spokesman said: “We received a report at 7.22am on Saturday 31 August 2024 of a collision in Old Christchurch Road in Bournemouth.
“It was reported that the vehicle involved had collided with a parked car and street furniture.
“There were no reports of any injuries.
“Officers attended and a 31-year-old Bournemouth woman was arrested. She was subsequently charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis and is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Monday 18 November 2024.”
