A MAN has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in Poole.
The man aged in his 40s sustained injuries not believed to be life-threatening on Friday evening, August 30.
Dorset Police received a report at 9.35pm from the ambulance service of a man with suspected stab wounds near the Asda superstore in Holes Bay Road sometime between 7pm and 7.30pm.
Officers attended and conducted a thorough search of the area, assisted by the NPAS helicopter.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “An investigation will be carried out to identify those involved.
"No arrests have been made at this time.
“There will be an increased police presence in the area and members of the public are able to raise any concerns with officers.”
