A BMW has crashed into a town centre pub.
The grey 1-Series coupe was driving in Old Christchurch Road in Bournemouth town centre on Saturday morning, August 31.
But at around 7am, the car ended up crashing into the George Tapps pub, leaving debris over the road and the airbags deployed.
Luke Dominey, 24, was in the area when he heard a “loud bang” coming from the road.
He said: “I was getting ready for work when all of a sudden I heard a loud noise. I looked out of a window and the woman was sat in her car for about five minutes.
“She eventually sort of crawled out of the car, the airbags had all gone off, but she seemed fine after that and there was debris all over the floor. Buses were struggling to get through.
“People rag it up and down Old Christchurch Road all the time, I’ve always said it is only a matter of time before a massive crash happens there.”
Images of the car show the bonnet completely destroyed with the airbags deployed and further damage to a light blue Mazda 2 that was parked in the road.
Dorset Police have been contacted for more details.
