A MAN is fighting for life after being glassed in Bournemouth town centre.
The man aged in his 30s has been taken to hospital following an incident in the early hours of Saturday morning.
At 4.11am, police received a report from the ambulance service that a man had been struck with a glass bottle in the area of Poole Hill.

Police have launched a full investigation into the incident, led by detectives from BCP CID, and nobody has been arrested yet.
A police cordon has been put in place between in part of West Hill Road, Poole Hill and Commercial Road as enquiries are carried out.
Several officers are manning the tape, directing residents around the area. Poole Hill car park is open but accessed via West Hill Road.
Residents were shocked to hear somebody was in hospital fighting for his life, but didn't seem as shocked at another serious incident.
Bournemouth resident John Cotterill said: “There’s too many incidents happening in recently.
"All these stabbings, bottlings... something needs to be done about it. I worry about my grandkids going out into the town centre.
“Such a shame.”
Poole Hill resident Sandra out walking her dog said: “It’s getting really bad Bournemouth.
“I’m surprised they haven’t got anybody given where it is. There will be CCTV everywhere.”
Another passer-by, when told a man was bottled overnight in the town centre, added: “Typical isn’t it. I won’t say any more.”
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “There will be an increased policing presence in the vicinity and officers can be approached by members of the public with information or concerns.
“No arrests have been made at this time.”
