REFERRING to your article in Saturday's Echo telling us all about the plans to cut the very necessary fire service. Whose fantastic idea was that down to when they are allowing so many new building estates in the area?
The council will have more than enough Rates to cover the need for all of them?
Not only for house fires - they are all urgently needed for car accidents etc.
Barbecues on heaths etc.
Once you get rid of such a dedicated force it would be a long wait to rectify the situation.
