THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:
JOSHUA BUTLER, 19 and of no fixed address, admitted theft from a shop after stealing dog food, pringles and chocolate to the value of £20 from Co-op in Ashley Road in Poole on April 4. He was handed a two-week prison sentence, running consecutive to a sentence he is already serving.
DIANA WALKER, 35 and of Goliath Road in Poole, admitted failing to surrender to police / court bail at the appointed time at Poole Magistrates’ Court on March 1. She admitted theft - other - including theft by finding, after stealing a vehicle battery, motorcycle helmet, motorcycle gloves and other vehicle parts to the value of £520 from Brook Road Garage in Wimborne Minster on June 27, 2023. She admitted criminal damage to property after damaging a trailer and wiring to a value of £200 at Brook Road Garage in Wimborne Minster on June 27, 2023. She was conditionally discharged for a period of 12 months. She was also ordered to pay compensation of £500.
LUCY SMITH, 24 and of Leydene Avenue in Bournemouth, admitted possession of a controlled drug of class A, namely heroin, in Bournemouth on March 15. She admitted ten counts of theft from a shop, after stealing groceries valued at £41.50 from Co-op in Charminster Road in Bournemouth on March 12, stealing goods to the value of £190 from River Island in Castlepoint shopping centre in Bournemouth on March 9, stealing goods to the value of £36.50 from Co-op in Charminster Road in Bournemouth on March 19, stealing two bottles of washing up liquid, one bottle of Fry Light olive oil spray and a child's backpack toy to the value of £11.50 from Tesco Express in Southbourne Grove in Bournemouth on May 12, stealing goods to the value of £6.70 from Tesco Express in Wimborne Road in Bournemouth on April 13, stealing goods to the value of £160 from River Island in Castlepoint shopping centre in Bournemouth on March 26, stealing goods to the value of £240 from River Island in Castlepoint shopping centre in Bournemouth on March 6, stealing cosmetics and medicines to the value of £82 from Co-op in Charminster Road in Bournemouth on April 25, stealing goods to the value of £208 from River Island in Castlepoint shopping centre in Bournemouth on April 22 and stealing food and household items to the value of £81.40 from One Stop in Ripon Road in Bournemouth on April 21. She admitted three counts of failing to surrender to police / court bail at the appointed time at Poole Magistrates Court on July 22, May 15, and August 20. She admitted using threatening / abusive words / behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress at Tesco Express in Southbourne Grove in Bournemouth on May 12. She was handed a 26-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months. She was also ordered to pay compensation of £528.87.
