A BUS has crashed with scaffolding in Bournemouth town centre.
The Morebus double decker collided with scaffolding in Gervis Place shortly after midday on Wednesday.
There were reportedly no passengers on the bus at the time of the incident.
An investigation is underway to establish how the collision occurred.
Mike Freeborn, Morebus area operations manager, said: “One of our buses made contact with some scaffolding in Gervis Place, whilst the driver was positioning the vehicle on the stand. There were no customers on the bus at the time and no injuries sustained.
"There was a minor delay on one service, whilst a replacement bus and driver were arranged.
"The integrity of the scaffolding was examined by professionals on site and confirmed to be secure.
“We are carrying out an investigation to understand exactly how this occurred.”
