AFTER reading several letters about reopening the Whitecliff Road through Poole Park, I am one of the many people who prefer it to remain closed.

I regularly walk in the park and now enjoy the fact that there is far less traffic. Drivers can still drive through the park but closing the Whitecliff Road has reduced those cars using it as a shortcut.

I don’t understand why drivers feel the need to drive through the park when there are other roads they can use instead.

I was one of those who wanted the Keyhole Bridge to remain closed to vehicles as I also use this on my regular walks.

The park is used every day by people of all ages who can now enjoy the fresh air rather than exhaust fumes.

Please BCP please keep this entrance closed.
