HOUSEBUILDER Redrow has launched a sales cabin at its new energy efficient Royal Oaks development in Gillingham.
Homebuyers can now visit the sales cabin to find out more about the collection of eco electric homes which are now available to reserve.
The first phase at Royal Oaks consists of 32 eco electric homes all fitted with underfloor heating across the ground floor and air source heat pumps as standard.
Air source heat pumps are more efficient than gas boilers, as heat pumps capture heat that is already present in the environment and the system itself does not burn any fuel.
The underfloor heating to the ground floor means the large open plan spaces found in the homes can be efficiently heated, without the need for radiators.
The average UK home has an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of D while Redrow's eco electric homes have a rating of B or higher.
Mark Vanson, sales director at Redrow Southern Counties, said: “We’re excited to welcome homebuyers to our brand-new sales cabin at Royal Oaks.
“Visitors can get a feel for what life will be like at this development while hearing more about the high-quality, energy efficient homes we have on offer.
“We build energy efficiency into the fabric of all Redrow homes and the properties at Royal Oaks all include air source heat pumps and there are EV chargers throughout the development, helping residents to live more sustainably while lowering their energy bills.
“We have a well experienced and friendly team at Royal Oaks who are available to help potential homebuyers with any questions they may have.
“I encourage anyone interested in seeing what this wonderful development has to offer to get in touch with our sales team and experience the Redrow difference firsthand.”
Redrow will also give £1.2 million to Dorset Council as part of the housing scheme, in agreement with the s206 contributions.
This money will be put towards services, education, health and transport infrastructure as well as supporting Royal Oaks residents.
Three bedroom homes at Royal Oaks start at £390,000. To find out more or to book a visit to one of the show homes, call 01252 980 969.
