THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:
SLAWOMIR MICHALOWSKI, 47 and of Lowther Road in Bournemouth, admitted two counts of fraud by false representation after using another person’s Nectar card intending to make a gain, namely produce to the value of £90 and £36.27, in Poole on September 18, 2022. He was conditionally discharged for 12 months. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £126.27, a victim surcharge of £26 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
HAYLEY CHAPMAN, 39 and of Bingham Drive in Verwood, admitted two counts of theft from a shop after stealing goods to the value of £368.53 from a Sainsbury's in Portsmouth on May 31, and seven bottles of vodka, five bottles of extra virgin oil and other food items to the value of £430.85 from Sainsbury's in Hedge End in Southampton on January 26. She was conditionally discharged for a period of two years, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £26 and compensation of £215.42.
JAY GREEN, 20 and of McDonald Place in Lytchett Matravers, admitted criminal damage to property after damaging a black Vauxhall Agina car to the value of £681 in the Durley Chine Car Park in Bournemouth on January 3. He was conditionally discharged for a period of three years and a restraining order was made for the owner of the car. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £26, costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and compensation of £1000.
DEXTER ROBINSON, 31 and of Ash Grove in Ringwood, admitted using threatening / abusive / insulting words / behaviour to cause harassment / alarm / distress in Southbourne Overcliff Drive in Bournemouth on February 4. He admitted criminal damage to property after damaging the windscreen of a white Ford Fiesta in Southbourne Overcliff Drive in Bournemouth on February 4. He was handed a community order lasting until August 18, 2025, with a requirement to complete 80 hours of unpaid work, and a restraining order was made for the victim. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £484.
DEAN LAWLER, 26 and of Rhuddlan Road in Rhyl, admitted assault by beating in Christchurch Road in Bournemouth on April 12. He was handed a community order lasting until August 18, 2025, with a requirement to complete 200 hours of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £600 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
DARREN KNIGHTS, 43 and of Tedder Road in Bournemouth, admitted theft from a shop after stealing clothes valued at £300 from TK Maxx in Ringwood Road in Bournemouth on March 5. He admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order, and two counts of commission of a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge order. He was handed a new community order requiring him to complete 80 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £300.
WILLIAM HODGES, 22 and of Canford Road in Poole, admitted using a motor vehicle on a road / public place without third party insurance, using a motor vehicle on a road without a valid test certificate, and driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level above limit, namely 89 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, in Sterte Road in Poole on June 5. He was disqualified from driving for 22 months and handed a community order lasting until August 18, 2025, with a requirement to complete 40 hours of unpaid work. He was also ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
