A MAN has been charged after a BP petrol station was stolen from.
Bournemouth resident Ian Payne has been accused of theft from a shop and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
It follows an incident at the garage in Somerford Road, Christchurch on the morning of Wednesday, August 14.
He is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Monday, October 14.
Dorset Police’s spokeswoman said: “This occurred during the morning of Wednesday 14 August 2024.
“He was arrested and charged with theft from a shop and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress and is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Monday 14 October 2024.”
A Bournemouth police spokesman added “He has been charged to appear in court with conditions not to attend the location in the future.”
