THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:
ALICE BENNETT, 23, and of Middlebere Crescent in Poole, admitted failing to co-operate with a preliminary test, namely a roadside breath test and drug test, in Blandford Road in Poole on June 1. She admitted failing to provide specimen for analysis, namely a specimen of breath for analysis, in Blandford Road in Poole on June 1. She was handed a community order lasting until August 13, 2025, with a requirement to complete 60 hours of unpaid work, and was disqualified from driving for 20 months. She was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114, and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
ROSS MCKINNON, 38 and of Keeble Road in Bournemouth, admitted two counts of obstructing/resisting a constable in execution of duty, namely two police officers, in Keeble Road in Bournemouth on December 25, 2023. He was fined £108 and ordered to pay costs of £400 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
LEON HALL, 44 and of Vernalls Gardens in Bournemouth, admitted two counts of obstructing/resisting a constable in execution of duty, namely two police officers, in Keeble Road in Bournemouth on December 25, 2023. He was fined £108, ordered to pay costs of £400 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a victim surcharge of £43.
MATTHEW GALE, 45 and of Tyneham Close in Sandford, admitted two counts of theft from a shop, after stealing two packs of San Miguel valued at £11 from Co-op in North Street in Wareham on April 6, and stealing two bottles of Jack Daniels whiskey valued at £70 from Sainsbury's in South Street in Wareham on January 25. He was conditionally discharged for a period of 12 months. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £81 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
ALEXANDER BARRINGTON COLLIER, 45 and of Gorley Road in Linbrook, was found guilty of failing to give information to Dorset Police on March 23, 2023, relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. He was disqualified from driving for 21 days. He was also fined £200, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £80 and costs of £250 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
DARRYL JOHN CORNISH, 41 and of Ashley Road in Poole, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place at The Old Fire Station in Bournemouth on April 21. He admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following his release from a period of imprisonment. He was conditionally discharged for a period of six months. He was also fined £50.
GARY CRITCHLEY, 53 and of School Lane in Bournemouth, admitted assault by beating in Cavendish Road in Bournemouth on March 2. He was handed a community order lasting until August 14, 2025. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £200.
GARY HASKELL, 43 and of King John Close in Poole, admitted theft from a shop after stealing two packs of Magners Cider, a pack of Carlsberg lager and three packs of Dreamies cat treats to the value of £28.40 from the Co-op in Madeira Road in Bournemouth. He was ordered to pay compensation of £8.62.
MAJA BARJAKTAREVIC, 49 and of Trinidad Crescent in Poole, was found guilty of failing to provide specimen for analysis, namely failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis at Poole police station on November 25, 2023. She was disqualified from driving for 24 months. She was also fined £1600, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £640 and costs of £685 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
