THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:
AARON DEAN MCGLASHAN, 31 and of Stourvale Road in Bournemouth, was found guilty of driving without insurance in Holdenhurst Road in Bournemouth on May 19, 2023. He got six points on his licence. He was also fined £660, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £264 and costs of £300 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
CARL JASON SMITH, 41 and of Holdenhurst Road in Bournemouth, admitted drink driving, namely with 48 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, in St Agnes in Cornwall on July 20, 2021. He was disqualified from driving for 15 months. He was also fined £500, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £50 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
AISHA SOW, 22 and of Rock Street in Manchester, admitted assault by beating after assaulting a man in Bournemouth on December 2, 2023. She was conditionally discharged for a period of 12 months. She was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £26 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
ANDREW GIDLEY, 31 and of no fixed address, admitted assault by beating after assaulting a woman in Christchurch on March 1. He was jailed for 12 weeks and a restraining order was made for the victim.
ADAM POWER, 41 and of no fixed address, admitted assaulting a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm in Charminster Road in Bournemouth on November 1, 2023. He admitted criminal damage to property after damaging a kitchen door in Charminster Road in Bournemouth on November 1, 2023. He was jailed for 12 weeks and a restraining order was made for the victim.
DANIEL WILLIAM SCALES, 37 and of Russel Road in Bournemouth, was found guilty of using a hand-held mobile telephone while driving a motor vehicle in Ashley Road in Bournemouth. He got six points on his licence. He was also fined £200, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £80, and costs of £500 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
HELDER PAULO PEREIRA VIERA, 60 and of Westbourne Arcade in Bournemouth, was found guilty of driving a motor vehicle and failing to comply with the indication given by a traffic sign, namely zig-zag lines at a zebra crossing, in Milburn Road in Bournemouth on July 2, 2023. He got three points on his licence. He was also fined £120, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £88, and costs of £150 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
ARTUR ADAM DYMERSKI, 36 and of Phyldon Road in Poole, was found guilty of driving a motor vehicle at a speed exceeding the limit, namely 46mph in a 40mph zone, on the A338 Wessex Way in Bournemouth on October 29, 2023. He got three points on his licence. He was also fined £220, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £88, and costs of £150 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
LUKE JAMES NEIL COOPER, 38 and of Jellicoe Road in Poole, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates Court on May 3. The community order was varied to contain new rehabilitation requirements.
SUMMER JOYCE, 25 and of Poole Road in Wimborne, admitted intentionally / recklessly cause a public nuisance, namely presenting on the wrong side of a safety barrier at the Dolphin Centre in Poole on February 13 causing the closure of a service road, closure of the car park and causing annoyance to the public. She also admitted assault by beating of an emergency worker, namely a police officer at Bournemouth Police Station on February 13. She was handed a community order lasting until August 13, 2025, and ordered to pay compensation of £250.
