A MAN is due to appear in court after more than £11,000 of damage was caused to a storefront in New Milton.
Craig Anthony Trott, 40 and of Knole Road in Bournemouth, has been charged with causing criminal damage to a property after a number of windows were hit.
It is alleged shortly before 2am on January 28 a storefront in Station Road was damaged.
Trott is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on September 11.
A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said: “A Bournemouth man has been issued a summons to appear in court following alleged criminal damage at a business premises in Hampshire.
“It’s alleged that on Sunday 28 January, just shortly before 2am, a number of windows of a storefront on Station Road in New Milton were damaged during an incident – causing more than £11,000 worth of damage.
“Craig Anthony Trott, aged 40, of Knole Road in Bournemouth will face once charge of causing criminal damage to a property – value over £5,000.
“He is due to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 11 September.”
