A MAN was found by a carer in his home after passing away unexpectedly.
Adrian Paul Johnson, 53 and known as Adie, was found unresponsive at his home in Poole before sadly being pronounced dead by emergency services.
Assistant coroner for Dorset, Richard Middleton, opened the inquest into his death at Bournemouth Town Hall on August 9.
Coroner’s officer, Philippa Morgan, told Dorset Coroner’s Court that Adrian was born in Poole on February 27, 1971.
He was single at the time of his death and worked as a digger driver.
On June 28 Adrian was found unresponsive by his carer at his home on Heights Approach, Upton.
She called an ambulance and when paramedics arrived they pronounced Adrian deceased.
Police confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death and he was formally identified by his career.
A post-mortem examination was conducted by Dr Albadry at Holly Tree Lodge on July 3.
It found Adrian’s medical cause of death to be subdural haematoma and subarachnoid haemorrhage believed to be caused by a head injury from a fall.
Mr Middleton adjourned the full inquest into his death until February 12, 2025, at 2pm.
In a tribute, Adrian’s family said: “Adrian Paul 'Adie' passed away unexpectedly at home on 28th June 2024, aged 53 years.
“A loving son, brother and uncle, Adie will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends.”
