A NEW Forest woman who crashed her car into a ditch before trying to kick a police officer has been banned from driving.
Lisa Parrish, 26, was more than twice over the drinking legal limit when she crashed her blue Honda CR-V into a ditch off Barton Common Road in Barton on Sea on July 15 last year, a court heard.
When police arrived at the scene, they found Parrish unsteady on her feet. She then became aggressive towards officers, kicking at one of them.
Southampton Magistrates' Court heard a breath test was conducted with a reading of 74 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath – more than double the legal limit of 35.
Parrish, of Sway Road in Tiptoe, Lymington, pleaded guilty to one charge of drink-driving and one charge of assaulting an emergency worker.
She was given a three-year disqualification and fined £162.
