A COMMUNITY group is set to hold a litter pick ahead of the air festival.
BCP Bring Community Power is planning to litter pick from Boscombe gardens to the beach, towards Southbourne.
This project will take place on Sunday, August 25 from 9am, with everyone welcome to get involved.
Litter picks and high visibility vests will be provided by the group.
Group founder Simone Ippolito said he was very keen to keep a positive mindset and togetherness in the town after the recent division and rioting across the country.
He said he believes the community can only achieve the results they want by working together and showing the power of community.
Simone said: “On the lead up to the busiest event of the year, this is something that will hopefully get more people to show some love to our place when they come the following week.
“We will continue to do our little, no matter what, this fire keeps on burning.
“Anyone is welcome to join us from 9am at Boscombe gardens.”
The group has previously organised a clean of Churchill Gardens in Boscombe, as well as other projects including a recent effort to donate unwanted clothes to Hope for Food.
