A TWELVE-hour walking relay is set to raise money for Cancer Research this weekend.
The Cancer Research Relay for Life Funday will take place at Glenmoor and Winton Academies this Saturday, July 13.
Teams will be raising money for the cancer charity by walking a track for 12 hours, swapping the baton at times during the day, as well as taking on team challenges.
The day is also a funday for the general public, with entertainment promised throughout the day.
This will include food and drink, local stalls, bouncy castles and rides, as well as the Bournemouth goats.
The event itself is being opened by Harry Redknapp.
A Candle of Hope ceremony will also take place at 9pm on Saturday, to give those attending a moment to reflect and honour everyone affected by cancer.
