EMERGENCY services were called to a shopping centre in Boscombe after reports of a man on the roof.
Dorset Police received a report at 2.50pm on Sunday, July 7 raising concern for the welfare of a man on the roof of the Sovereign Centre.
Officers attended and road closures were put in place while police made attempts to engage with the man.
He was taken to safety at around 3.15pm.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We received a report at 2.50pm on Sunday 7 July 2024 raising concern for the welfare of a man on the roof of the Sovereign Centre in Boscombe.
“Officers attended and road closures were put in place as attempts were made to engage with the man.
“He was taken to safety at around 3.15pm and given appropriate care.”
