POLICE were called to reports of youths "carrying weapons".
Officers from Weymouth and Portland police responded after receiving intelligence that a group of youths were "carrying weapons" on Saturday, April 27.
The individuals were found and subsequently stopped and searched by police.
No weapons were found in the search.
A spokesperson for Weymouth and Portland Police said: "Thankfully no weapons were located and they were given strong words of advice."
Officers also patrolled anti-social behaviour hotspots in the town and said they were "pleased to report no issues and everyone had a safe and enjoyable night".
