High Wycombe’s Sports Direct branch has opened its doors following its move to the Eden Shopping Centre.
The initial outlet had been directly opposite the complex but they announced at the back end of 2023 that they had plans to move to a bigger unit.
This unit would later be the space which was previously used by the Spanish clothing shop, Zara, which left the town in February.
After two months of moving stock, which includes video games and cuddly toys, the shop opened to the public the week commencing Monday, April 22.
In a brief Facebook video that was shared on April 26, showed snippets of the branch’s two floors, which consisted of numerous trainers, tops, jackets, accessories and a sign which states ‘Sports Starts Here’.
Upon the move centre Director, Andrew Norton, said: "This is great news for sports and sporting apparel fans in the area.”
