TWO leisure centres have been given ‘very good’ scores in a rigorous assessment.
Rossmore Leisure Centre and Poole Dolphin Leisure Centre were given the scores in Quest Plus Assessments, which is a continuous improvement tool for leisure facilities and sports development teams.
The centres, both managed by Everyone Active in partnership with BCP Council, scored highly in many areas in the mystery visit and formal assessment elements.
They both received a score of excellent in performance sport, exercise referral and swimming lessons.
Core modules in the assessment include operational management, customer journey, environmental management, compliance declaration, tackling inequalities and managing the team.
Ashdown Leisure Centre also received a score of ‘good’ in the Quest assessment.
Everyone Active’s area contract manager, Hollie Jones, said: “We are delighted with the outcome of the Quest assessments and believe it is testament to the hard work of the centres and their teams. “To be recognised for not only operational success, but also the positive impact the centres have on the local community, makes us really proud.
“At Everyone Active, we are committed to providing quality facilities for all ages, abilities and interests, and we hope the local community can feel confident knowing their leisure centres have this added stamp of credibility.”
