ONE of the south’s biggest housing provider has announced its new head office will be based in Bournemouth Airport.

Sovereign Network Group (SNG) will move into new office space in Atlantic House at the Aviation Business Park in early 2025.

Joining neighbouring businesses such as Hobbycraft, Honeywell and Wyvern Cargo, work to revamp the 8,300 sq ft building will take place in the coming months.

An SNG spokesman said: “Sovereign Network Group can confirm that it has secured a new office at Hurn and will be undertaking work there over the next year with a view to our teams moving in early 2025.

“At this time, the company will vacate Spectrum House in Christchurch and our depot at Fleetsbridge, Poole as part of our Workplace Programme.

“The move is aimed to better serve our customers by consolidating our operations in the BCP area. The programme is also designed to create modern environments for our employees that will improve how we work and collaborate.”

The building was let to SNG via Goadsby, which has said it continues to see “good levels of demand” for industrial, logistics and office accommodation at the airport.

James Edwards, director at Goadsby commercial added: “Naturally, we are delighted to have secured a letting on behalf of our client.

“Like many companies at the moment, SNG are clearly very focused on transforming their offices into a fantastic area for their employees to work and we look forward to seeing the building following SNG’s extensive refurbishment programme.”

SNG was formed in October 2023 through the merger of Sovereign and Network Homes.

The group provides more than 84,000 homes and invests in communities across London and the south of England, as well as aiming to create thousands of new affordable places for people to live every year.

SNG invested £303m in 1,672 new homes nationwide producing a £448.2m turnover.

It develops and maintains homes in Berkshire, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Wiltshire and west of England.
