A MAN is in a serious condition following a stabbing in Bournemouth.
The man in his 30s has been taken to hospital following the incident in Alton Road.
Police said his injuries have been described as serious but stable.
Three men have been arrested in connection with the incident.
Dorset Police received a report at 3.17pm on Wednesday, November 15, that a man had been found with a stab wound.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “It is reported that the man was assaulted in Hood Close shortly before the incident was reported.”
Officers are in attendance and the road is closed while enquiries are carried out at the scene.
A number of cordons have been put in place in the area including around what appears to be smashed glass outside a property.
The police helicopter was seen earlier circling the area.

A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 15:20hrs on Wednesday 15 November to an incident in Bournemouth.
“We sent a double-crewed land ambulance, an operations officer, a doctor and a critical care car and conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Poole Hospital.”
