A MAN has been identified following a CCTV appeal in relation to an assault on a supermarket worker.
A member of staff at Morrisons supermarket in Chiltern Drive, Verwood, was attacked at around 8.50pm on Wednesday, October 4.
Police said the victim sustained minor injuries.
CCTV images were released a man police wanted to identify in relation to the incident.
Giving an update, a Dorset Police spokesperson said: “Following a CCTV appeal and enquiries by officers, an 18-year-old man from Hampshire is assisting officers with their investigation and is due to attend for a voluntary police interview.”
They added: “We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal.”
