A HOTEL in Bournemouth has been named the UK’s ‘Best New Hotel’.
The Nici, on West Hill Road on the West Cliff, received the recognition at the Condé Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence.
The awards recognise the achievements of hotels around the world, including 24 UK categories, and the winners were announced at a ceremony on November 6 at the Kimpton Fitzroy London.
The Nici was described as a ‘welcome luxurious addition to Bournemouth’s hotel scene’.
It was recognised for its ‘elevated panoramic sea views, landscaped gardens, a 30-metre heated outdoor pool, relaxed restaurant, standout bar and easy access to a sandy beach, it has everything you need for the ultimate seaside escape'.
Judges also highlighted the ‘impressive glossy interior design dressed in bright, light Miami-esque style oozing vintage Art Deco stylings with contemporary glam flair'.
Anthony Rudolph, brand director of The Nici, said: “We are extremely honoured to be recognised as the UK's Best New Hotel in this year's prestigious Condé Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence.
“As a new UK brand and concept, this award highlights the incredible work put in by the whole team, and our dedication to design, service and fully considered guest experiences.”
