THERE'S a fresh new Mediterranean lounge bar that's just landed in Bournemouth.

Love Gusto in Yelverton Road has only been open for two weeks and 'would love some new customers'.

The restaurant boasts a unique selling point with its Roman pizza - a 'super light delicacy made with 85 per cent water and 15 per cent flour'.

It also sells Italian goods shipped from Italy, cakes, coffees, vintage wines as well as Mediterranean classics like tapas.

Proud owner, Gramo Zyberaj said: “I didn’t want to be a pizzeria because there’s so many everywhere around here."

The 41-year-old and his family live in Verwood, close to their sister restaurant, V&G's based in Ringwood.

He decided to open another branch because he thinks Love Gusto will thrive in Bournemouth with 'all the young people around'.

He added: “We offer quick lunch and quick service at a reasonable price.”

Del Marco, an Italian restaurant which closed in 2022, used to occupy the space before Love Gusto took over.

Gramo used to go to Del Marco with his friends, he said: “I used to come to this place for coffee when I was younger so I have a little bit of history when I used to meet my friends here. I was gutted when it closed completely.”

Love Gusto celebrated its grand opening on June 19, welcoming people to go and try the new menu.

Gramo has been trading at the sister restaurant in Ringwood for 12 years, he said: “It’s been very successful so hopefully this one will be as well.”

He added: “We had a bit of interruption but we're now fully open and looking for customers.”

“This place will be ideal for anyone having birthdays, private functions, and other events.”

“I do need the support from locals and help, anything to bring customers and survive.

"I am looking forward to welcoming new customers"

The restaurant is currently offering a range of discounts to encourage customers to try the food it has to offer.
