A gang of teens inflicted serious injuries to a man during an attack in Poole town centre.
The victim went to hospital for treatment following the assault in the area of North Street.
It was reported that the local man aged in his 40s was attacked by a group of teenagers aged between 13 and 16 years old at around 8.30pm on Sunday, May 28.
His injuries were serious but not life threatening, police said.
Detective Constable Thomas Norman, of Bournemouth CID, said: “I am carrying out enquiries into this incident and would ask any witnesses to please come forward.
“I am also keen to speak to anyone who may have captured anything of relevance on either dashcam, CCTV or mobile phone footage.
“Finally, if you have any information about those responsible, please contact Dorset Police.”
