IT IS looking like it will be another beautiful bank holiday this weekend as temperatures are to keep at around the 20C mark.
Many will, once again, be looking for a little fun to do just as schools kick off their summer half term break.
Here are five things you could do this weekend:
Christchurch Food Festival
Taking place across all days of the long weekend, the festival will be returning this year at Christchurch Quay and the Quomps in Christchurch.
The event is free to attend and is a very popular event that attracts an estimated 60,000 visitors each year.
The Greatest Showman Tribute
We all basked in the magnificence of The Greatest Showman, starring Hugh Jackman and Zendaya, when it came out six years ago.
But at Bournemouth Pier on Saturday, a tribute to the show in the style of a live production will be held at Bournemouth Pier at 8.30pm.
Tickets costs £20 and can be found here: https://www.keywestbournemouth.co.uk/the-greatest-show-tribute/?utm_source=BCPCouncil&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=GreatestShowman
Sunset Chasers Paddling Tours
If basking in the magnificence of the Greatest Showman isn’t your thing, you can bask in an evening sunset with New Forest Activities.
Held at the Beaulieu River, tickets cost £49 per adult and can be purchased online, with offers of picturesque scenery from the comfort of your own canoe or kayak.
South Coast Makers Market
Shopping is also on the list of things to do this weekend, including this one held at Bobby’s in Bournemouth town centre on Sunday with free entry.
Held once a month, traders will be selling their handmade stock on the first floor from 10am to 4pm.
Tank Museum
Animal-themed activities will be held all week at the Tank Museum with the Tank Zoo.
Guests can find out about more about the animals in the Animals at War game, with explosive live tank displays to be seen every weekday.
