A CYCLIST was rushed to Southampton General Hospital after going through a fish and chip shop window this morning during a crash.
At around 9am, a man was cycling along Holdenhurst Road in Springbourne when he was involved in a crash possibly involving a white van.
It is unclear if the cyclist was hit or if he swerved to avoid the vehicle.

The man went through the window of The Galley fish and chip shop window on the corner with Cleveland Road.
He was taken by air ambulance to Southampton Hospital as a precaution.
It is now believed that he will make a full recovery as police at the scene said his injuries were not as serious as first thought.
Police closed the road while they carried out enquires. It was reopened shortly before midday.
Officers are now appealing for any witnesses who may have seen anything or may have any dashcam footage from driving along the road this morning.
