What a great night of entertainment the All or Nothing concert experience is.
Although I was born in the sixties, I was far too young to catch The Small Faces, only getting to them via the Mod revival of the late seventies.
It may have taken 20 years, but I am so glad I did as Steve Marriot, Kenney Jones, Ronnie Lane and Ian McLagan produced some of the greatest songs ever written.

This concert experience differs from the musical in that it is a paired back production with the band on stage along with two brilliant dancers and a narrator moving the story on at pace.
The band is note perfect on with lead singer ‘Steve Marriot’ spot on vocally.

As the story progresses, we are treated to lively versions of Lazy Sunday, All or Nothing, What’cha Gonna Do About It, Itchycoo Park and my personal favourite Tin Soldier.

The crowd loved every second of every song and were enthusiastic in their response.
For the second half of the show the band rattled through some of the biggest hits of the sixties including tunes from The Who, The Beatles The Yardbirds and many more.

In putting together, the more detailed musical and this concert tour and then hitting the road with both productions Carol Harrison has played no small part in keeping the music of The Small Faces alive, something I am sure that everyone here tonight is grateful for.

An excellent night of entertainment that I will be sure to catch again next time it is anywhere near.
I cannot write this without mentioning the staff at the Tivoli who were excellent from the moment I arrived to the moment I left.
Staffed partly by volunteers they were polite, helpful and a big part of why this wonderful venue still exists.
If you get the chance have a look at the upcoming shows and go along for a night out in this jewel of a theatre.
