- ➡️ A major incident has been declared in Poole Harbour after a pipeline leak
- ➡️ Around 15 per cent of the fluid that escaped from the pipeline was oil
- ➡️ Poole Harbour Commissioners activated its emergency oil spill plan on Sunday
- Dorset Police, Dorset Council, Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole Council, NHS, Environment Agency and Natural England are also involved
- ➡️ A further assessment will be made early tomorrow morning regarding a clean up operation
- ➡️ People are being advised to avoid using the beaches within Poole Harbour
