A CCTV image of a man has been released following an assault in a bar in Bournemouth.
A man in his 40s was standing at the bar in Havana in Charminster Road at around 4am on Sunday, February 12, when he was punched by another man.
He fell to the ground, and sustained an injury to his right eye, as well as bruising to his head, a cut lip and a swollen knee.
Officers investigating the assault have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify.
Police constable Jacqui Allen, of Dorset Police, said: “This was an unprovoked assault and we are conducting enquiries to try and identify the man responsible.
“We have obtained a CCTV image of a man we would like to identify as part of our investigation, and I would urge anyone who recognises him to please contact us.”
