CASH was stolen and damage done to a Co-op store in Boscombe following a break-in by two men.

At around 11.10pm on Tuesday, January 31, two men forced entry to the Co-op store in Christchurch Road. A quantity of cash was stolen and damage was also caused to the premises.

Officers investigating the burglary are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

PC Flora Foster, of Bournemouth Police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this burglary and I would urge any witnesses, or anyone with information that might assist our investigation, to please get in touch.

“I am also releasing CCTV images of the two suspects. I appreciate their faces cannot be clearly seen but someone may recognise them from their clothing and the images may help jog the memory of any witnesses.

“Our enquiries indicate the offender may have been in the area of Annerley Road from around 10.50pm prior to committing the burglary at around 11.10pm and I would urge any motorists who were in this vicinity during this time period to please check any dashcam footage for anything of relevance.”
