South Western Railway have told passengers for Bournemouth to arrange their own transport from Woking this evening, due to a national shortage of bus drivers.
In a Twitter thread, the rail operator said that they had not been able to secure enough rail replacement bus drivers during essential engineering works.
They are advising passengers that are travelling on the last three services from London Waterloo to Bournemouth, Southampton and Salisbury to get off at Woking, and arrange their own transport from there.
As a result, we are advising passengers travelling on the last three services from London Waterloo to Southampton, Salisbury and Bournemouth, to alight at Woking and book their own onward transport.
