A BRAND-new and much anticipated adventure and entertainment complex is set to open this spring in Poole.

Flip Out indoor adventure park is set to open at the beginning of May this year within the former Marks and Spencer unit in Poole’s Dolphin Shopping Centre alongside new adventure golf experience Putt Putt Noodle.

Some £3million is being invested in the development, which will create up to 90 jobs, after it was approved BCP Council in August last year and no objections were filed.

When open, the complex will feature the following:

  • E-karting
  • Cannon Blast Arena
  • Laser tag
  • Soft play area
  • Technology-infused football pitch
  • Crazy bumper cars
  • A pumping roller rink
  • A Sega arcade

The site will also house a diner serving milkshakes, pizzas, snacks and a range of slush flavoured drinks.

Putt Putt Noodle, which is on schedule to open alongside Flip Out, is a blend of pan Asian-themed adventure golf with 27 holes over three courses and a sushi and noodle food offering, with cocktails and craft beers.

The design of the three courses will take people on a journey through Asia with the interiors inspired by the cherry blossoms of Japan, crouching tigers of the Far East and the dragon symbols of the continent.

It will be the second Putt Putt Noodle site in the UK.

Ahead of opening, Flip Out and Putt Putt Noodle co-owner Richard Beese said: “We cannot wait to open the doors.

“Building work is progressing well, and we are hoping that the contractors will be handing over the venues to us at the end of April so that we can prepare a massive pre-launch for the official opening towards the beginning of May, but we will have more accurate timings as the build continues and will give plenty of notice as to when general booking and party lines are open.

“From early feedback when we announced our plans last year, we know that families in Poole and the surrounding area are looking forward to having Flip Out in the heart of the town, and we are looking forward to becoming a big part of the community and playing our part in bolstering the economy in Poole town centre.”
