ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. You buy a property next to cricket pitch, then complain about balls coming over into your garden.
It’s like buying a property near an airport then complaining about noise from aircraft and also flying from that airport to go on holiday.
We had a cricket pitch for many years in Dean Park Road but it was sold and cricket is no longer played there.
When my grandsons were playing there once or twice I got talking to a lovely chap who had talked his wife into buying a flat overlooking that pitch so he could watch the cricket.
But alas, no cricket to watch now.
Live and let live. Cricket is a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing game to watch.
Would they rather a football ground with supporters shouting and singing?
