A MAN is due to appear in court in connection with a fatal crash in Poole.
Emergency services were called to a collision near the Civic Centre in Commercial Road involving a black Yamaha motorcycle and a pedestrian at around 6pm on Sunday, February 28, 2021.
The pedestrian, a local man aged in his 70s, was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries. He died on the morning of Monday, March 29, last year.
The motorcyclist and his pillion passenger were both taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.
Providing an update on Friday, December 2. a Dorset Police spokesperson said following enquiries by the force's serious collision investigation team, a 27-year-old man from London has been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Friday, December 9, for offences of causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
